1. Rule of Thirds: When taking a picture, you should follow the rule of thirds. That means that there are three lines going and three going vertical. The focus of the picture should be where these points intersect. 2. Lighting: The lighting in a picture can make or break it. You should make sure that when you start to take pictures that the lighting compliments the picture. Especially if you won't be able to edit it later. The best time to take a picture is just after sunrise and right before sunset 3. Take A Lot of Photos: Take a lot of photos just in case something is off. For example, if your thumb is in the first shot and you don't take another, then the picture is ruined and you don't have another to remember it by. 4. Be in Focus: Make sure the object you are taking a picture of is in focus. If it isn't then the picture can be confusing or hard to look at. 5. Experiment: Don't be afraid to experiment with your pictures. Play around until you create a picture that you like. This may take awhile but in the end it will be worth it.
